Flame at 7 Months

After Delta finished her championship we talked to some other breeders and thanks to Shellie Juden (Elidas Whippets) we found a beautiful male right next door in Kansas to breed her to. Delta and Pete's pedigrees fit wonderful together.

Ok now we have a litter on the way. It's time to think about a theme.

I have always been the one who came up with our themes, but this time it was Dwights turn. He wanted these puppies to have registered names depicting our Oklahoma weather.

Yes, we're keeping a male this time, but there is a beautiful female, the first born, that we both really like. Two puppies at a time. Oh my! Anyway, now to her name. She was born with circles of color all over her little self. So I wanted her name to show this. I just couldn't think of anything to do with Oklahoma weather and circles. So I talked to my best bud in Whippets Carolynn Bates (Cajen Whippets) and bingo she has a perfect name.

In January of '06 wild fires were terrible in Oklahoma. We had a Fire that Circled the back part of our property. Hence, Wildhare Circle Of Fire. Perfect!

She is a real cutie and growing up nicely. Unfortunately, some of the circles are not as easy to make out now. Oh well.
