| After Delta finished her championship, The Caffees found a beautiful male nearby, in Kansas, Ch Elidas Stardom In Action JC, to whom to breed her. Many thanks to Shellie Juden (Elidas Whippets) for making this possible!

With a litter on the way, it seemed like a good time to contemplate about a litter-naming theme. Although Paula was usually the one who came up with litter themes, this time it was Dwight's turn. He chose to have these puppies named for the wild Oklahoma weather conditions. Although they kept a male from this litter, there was also a beautiful female, the first born that they liked very much. Two pups at once. Oh my! What a challenge! This pup, born with circles of color all over her tiny body needed a name to reflect her special look and in keeping with the litter theme. Carolynn Bates to the rescue! She had the perfect suggestion. In January of 2006, wild fires were terrible in Oklahoma. We had a fire that circled the back part of our property. Hence the name, "Wildhare Circle Of Fire"! Flame is a real cutie and has grown up nicely. Unfortunately, some of her circles are not as distinct as they used to be but she is still our hot, little number! |
